Valuation of shares as on 31.03.2018

Sir, I had purchased few shares of a Indian company during 2008 for Rs. 24,000/-. Now the market price of said shares shows as Rs. 50,800/- (as learnt from the Account statement of NSDL). I have to file my ITR for AY 2018-2019. Whether I will have to show the income from shares (Market price less purchase price) ? If yes, under which head of income and what rate of income tax will have to be paid by me ? Please guide me.

Who can be joint shareholders

Dear Sir,
I wanted to ask, who can be joint holders in a public listed company. Can two unrelated persons become joint holders without any agreement between them on how much share percentage each has? And if no agreement between them and no proof that second holder has paid any money to acquire the shares, does he lose to stand his title over these shares? Please help me in these queries sir, as I am facing this new unanswered problem.
Thank You,
Sincerely,
Rahul, Hyderabad

F n o transaction

plz suggest , if f&O actual Losses 70000/-, absolute value of turnover of F&O i.e summation credit and debit value is 200000, then whether tax audit is required ?, as sale profit is below 8% of turnover. if yes then what will i show purchases and sale in the trading or P&L account.

further if there is no other income or if income is less than the taxable income say <2.50lac, but above situation is also exist then in this case return filing and tax audit is mandatory , if i did not want to c/f the losses ?
