can one apply for the same IPO with one PAN no, two DEMAT a/cs.

Do the Regsitrars to the issue scrutinize indexing on PAN nos.?

Investing abroad in Stocks from India

Hi,

I am an Indian resident and interested in stock trading overseas - most likely NYSE and NASDAQ.

Please advise what regulations and norms would be applicable.

Do I need to open a Bank account abroad?
Are there any major risks in remitting money abroad?

Hi, can someone explain me that in cases of block deals by Cos & dis-investment by govt, do they issue new or fresh shares to the shareholders? or do they sell existing shares?
