can one apply for the same IPO with one PAN no, two DEMAT a/cs.
Do the Regsitrars to the issue scrutinize indexing on PAN nos.?

Though you can have two demat accounts with one PAN but you cannot apply for same IPO with two seperate DEMAT a/c. If you wish to apply for a larger chuck then it is advisable to apply in HNI / Non institutional investors category.
