I m passed the CA Final( 1st Attempt ) in May'07. My articleship is still pending for 9 and half months and I want to join Industrial Training. Please inform me if there is any opening for Industrail Training.

i have cleared my CPT in may 2007 and currently pursuing articleship.. my PCC attempt is in may 2009..

I have planned to do B.Com through Correspondence... Is it beneficial to join under the new scheme introduced by IGNOU??? Or a normal B.Com under Madras University is more valuable than this???
Since i heard many people saying that B.com under Madras University is more preferrable than opting under IGNOU...

So please guide me in this respect

I shivom jindal want to get infromation about coaching for CA final in Delhi.My first concern is the subjects which are generally recomended for this purpose and who are the best persons for the same.and secondly i want to known how much will it cost to me if i plan to stay here for a period of 3 months. Can someone please provide me with an exhaustive list of firms fro doing my Articleship? I have just completed my PE2. I am aware of firms like KPMG, E&Y etc.. But please someone provide me with a list of firms to apply for (Sorted on RANK).
And way to apply to these firms and how to go about.....

I have done B Com with 64% marks in 1997 I did M Com with 50% marks in 2000 I have done M Sc Comp Sci with 64% in 2002 and thereafter i worked with a prominent CA for 2 years I want to take admission in CA, kindly clarify the procedure

I am a cost accountant, MBA(Fin) and CA(Inter) working with a large PSU as Sr Finance Officer. I have an experience of around 6 years. Now I am interested in CPA and Sox Compliance. Could somebody guide me about the courses and its value. What are the job prospects??? Is it better to go for Executive MBA???

I have two queries.

1. Can a CA member, not having COP & do not have intention to do practice, join a Company as a Consultant? if he is given an option by the employer.

2. Can a CA Member, in practice or not, carry on his Insurance Agency? He has taken agency prior to qualification, but as per the Insurance Act, an Agent must continue his Agency atleast for 5 years in order to keep get renewal commission.
