Dear, experts if someone want to be a future CFO of any company then is it mandatory for him to be a CA??..Can a CMA or CFA hold this position in any company??..or is it mandatory to be a CA to be a CFO in future??.

I am a CA & CS , presently working in a fortune 500 company. I am thinking of pursuing CFA (USA), please suggest/advise whether it would be beneficial for me to pursue the course as it involves substantial time and money.

I am Bcom,LLB and currently appear for the CS professional examination. I have more than 6 year of experiance in the field of Account & Taxation in manufacting co( Domestic & MNC) As a Sr. A/c off./A/c off.with a CTC of around 5 lakh.

I would like to know what sort of carrier option I have if i pass the CS professinal examination,because most of the people say that you are LLB & CS so you are more of legal & secrataries matter & not an A/c & taxation.
Please guide me whther CS decree will boost my current carrer field or I have to go for legal & secratarial carrier?

I have passed CA Final - II in nov-2002 under old syllabus and have already completed article period of 3 years in june 2000. Now i want to appear for remining four paper of group-1 as per old syllabus.

I got a offer from a reputed KPO to work as accounts assistant.

Job Profile of the Company for Account Assistant is as follows:
The candidate would be responsible for accounting and back office operations for private equity & Hedge Funds.

1)To carry out complete Accounting activities for the Private equity & Hedge Fund clients in Tally & respective applications
2)To prepare the Statement of Accounts/ Unit Statement, Drawdown notice and Unit Register for the Fund
3)To prepare the financial statements (MIS) and all such necessary reports as may be required by the Clients
4)To Ensure proper compliance of TDS deductions, TDS payments, quarterly e-TDS returns
5)To Prepare Annual accounts, including notes to accounts, Liaison with Statutory Auditors and providing necessary data and clarification
6)Statutory Filings and providing of accounting data for any of the regulatory reporting
7)To compute Fund NAV and LP NAV

I want an expert view on weather, (i)Working in a KPO as account assistant will be considered as a valid experience ?
(ii) When i clear my PCC and move on to other job, will this experience be counted as a valid experience?
