i am a member of icai. I want to apply for cop & start a proprietorship firm. Please tell me whether along with form no.6 do i need to send any other form ? In form 6 there is no reference of firm name ? Is there another forn for it ?

Hello all!!! I am a Qualified Chartered Accountant and I always wanna do job in Mumbai. Presently I am in Mumbai but could not find the correct way to get the job. I am facing lot of difficulties as my number of attempts in CA Final were bit more.

Wherever I mail my resume HR use to say "will let you know if you are shortlisted". But I dint get any response from them.

Can anybody suggest me what shall I do to achieve my target (to get the Job in Mumbai)?

Recently I received my CS - executive program mod 1 result, I could score only 141 ( this is my 3rd attempt) In first attempt I wrote both the models in that model - 2 I cleared in first attempt. But

mod-1 first attempt I scored 138
Mod - 1 Sec attempt I scored 140
Now mod 1 third item I scored 141

So I am loosing my confidence level. pl anybody advises me , I don't know how to score that 10 marks.... I am married I have a baby so family responsibility everything I have., but my husband support me a lot.. pl advise me, shall I write in this December or I am not a deserve to do this course?

I am facing a huge dilemma, actualy i have cleared IPCC in may, 2012 and i want to join a C.A firm for articleship, my father is a c.a and he has got his own firm with central audit of bank,audit of SBI cards, nd alot more good assignments, and due to his reference i am getting into s.p chopra & co., s.s kothari, j.c bhalla, t.r chadha... .


so, my confusion is should i do in my own firm, as i will get more time to study or should i go for oder available options.

And which option to be preffered.

I cleared IPCC exam in may11 & my articleship is going on....now a days I'm focusing on the Future but there are lots of confusion going on in my mind as i would like to do in future in DIRECT TAXES but my friends are telling me that now a days everybody going in DT & waiting in the queue for job to get specialized in DT....on net i searched a lot but there were just topics mentioned but NO REFERENCE BOOK / JOURNALS / MAGAZINES...etc.
SO dear all plz suggest me in which field i should go & SUGGEST THE RELATED REFERENCE BOOK / JOURNALS / MAGAZINES...etc. SO AS TO GO DEEPER IN THE MATTER....

Sir, new membership with full time COP, telephonic confirmation by institute without confirming the name of proprietorship firm.
Please give advice,
1)whether i can sign the audit report before receiving of COP certificate in Hard copy ?
2) if yes then without confirmation of firm name, in which name audit report will be issue?
3) Whether above CA can issue visiting card and letter head in their personal name until issue of firm name by ICAI?
