I want to know how to calculate adjusted numbers of shares for EPS calculation.

Rs. 12.90 Lac Share Capital as on 1st April 2010

Rs. 50.00 Lac added effective from 31st August 2010

So, total Share Capital as on 31st March 2011 would be Rs. 62.90 Lac.

What would be the average numbers of shares to be considered for EPS calculation? Please share formula too.

Please through some light on this:

There is one holding company suppose X, regd in Singapore. A & B are its subsidiary regd. in India and Japan respectively.

I am the company secretary in A and our directors are willing to appoint me as the internal auditor of B. Is this move correct or there is some legal consequences for this??
