Tax liability of a dealer

Dear Friends,

I am very confused about the calculation of tax liability of a dealer under central excise: -

Example

if a dealer purchases goods from manufacturer Rs. 1000
Add; excise duty x
add; VAT y
-----
Total purchasing amount
--------

My question is that-

Now when he sales above goods then
can he charge excise duty from purchaser?

Lost form 'h' certificate of export

Dear Sir/ Madam,
I am an exporter and I have lost my 'H' form. I have lost it in my ca's office as i have given it in his office for some taxation purposes. Now what is the remedy. I will be very thankful to you.

Dear Expert

We have established an industry in which we are not purchasing any machinery but assembling the same captively in our plant and for which we are purchasing the parts of it from different supplier who are charging the excise on the same

Now my question is whether CENVAT can be avail on purchasing the parts of machinery which is being assembled and which is a Capital Good for the Company

Form e4

this form asks for specific details regarding amount of expenses incurred.(eg. Advertisement, telephone etc). Whether details need to be given for the firm as a whole or only those incurred at factory site.

Rsp products are liable for excise duty

HI All,

We want to import from China down below products
did our products comes under RSP products like Mobile Cell, PCB, HSg, etc
1) are they RSP products want to know
2) if no, excise duty is applicable
3) If yes, how much will be the excise duty
4) and if yes for excise duty and we put MRP stickers how much percentage we have to pay excise because while importing we are paying custom duty

Want to know statutary requirements

i want to start business of buying oil in bulk and pack it into consumable packs and sell to wholesellers or retailers (if i can manage distribution).....

i want to know the statutary(registrations and licences) requirements for the same...

i hope i would get all what i need

Search reason

A search has been conducted by excise department & summons has been issued mentioning that I have reason to believe that the assessee is in possession of facts or/and documents and records which are material to the enquiry.

My Question is can assessee have right to ask the reason to believe of central excise officer which lead to search under central excise act?
if yes pls provide section or any supporting.

Registration with excise duty

I need a clarification on the issue
My client X & Co. purchases raw material(Steel rods)from local purchases or some times interstate. as X&Co., do not have its own mfg., unit, The said material is given to local work shop to make the material into some specific tool or machinery and the the finished tool or machinery is in turn sold in the name of X&Co.,

I would like to know if X&co., need to register under Central Excise Act and if yes please guide me under which provisions of the Central Excise Act

Duty pass on by non reg.dealer.?

Can Dealer not Registered with Excise, pass on duty on the basis of Excise Invoice he has received from his Manufacturer?
