i want to start business of buying oil in bulk and pack it into consumable packs and sell to wholesellers or retailers (if i can manage distribution).....
i want to know the statutary(registrations and licences) requirements for the same...

sales tax, VAT, excise, service tax (for reverse charge mechanism), shops and establishment act(if applicable to the place where you might be setting up your business, registration under factories act(if applicable), TAN, PAN,
Also, whether you make a company or partnership or llp or a proprietorship, will also decide what more you have to do. Like if you make a company, you have to do required compliances with ROC.
