23 May 2012 Is it Legally allowed to held a Board Meeting of Directors via a Video Conferaencing?

23 May 2012 Yes it is allowed but Chairman of the meeting has to personally present in meeting, for all other director video conferancing is allowed

23 May 2012 Please refer General Circular No. 28/2011 dt. 20/05/2011, issued by MCA which provides
besides enabling participation of the Directors in the meetings of
the Board/Committees through electronic mode, has clarified
much of the technical issues which might have otherwise been
encountered as hurdles to the effective implementation of the
process.

Now It is legally allowed to hold Board Meeting through video conferencing. But must comply the provision of Circular 28/2011 issued by MCA in this reference.
