11 February 2014 We have received redemption letter for EPCG License from DGFT. Further we have received a letter from ICD for Releasing the Bond, please send us the process and documents required for releasing the bond.

13 February 2014 You might have received E.O.D.C. (Export Obligation Discharge Certificate) From DGFT office from where EPCG licence was obtained. And you might have received letter from ICD customs from where capital goods was custom cleared. Please approach custom authority with a covering letter saying that export obligation against this EPCG licence is completed and you have obtained E.O.D.C from the DGFT. Submit original / copy of E.O.D.C. alongwith the letter and request for bond cancellation. They will cancel the Bond and send you the same within a weeks time. In fact this job should be intrusted to the CHA concenred who custom cleared the capital goods as he will be knowing whereabouts of the original file of customs relating to this bond / import.
