how beauty parlor services are taxable if they are using vatable goods in providing services.

26 October 2013 If beauty parlor is only providing servcie then only service tax is applicable even when it uses material for providing services.

if along with services they are also selling prodicts then vat is levieable on sale of such products.

Though they can opt for works contract.
