I have a doubt in respect of bank branch audit and stock audit.

Sir, i want to know that whether a Bank Branch Auditor of SBI's branch can do stock audit of the enterprise, which have taken advances from that same branch?

Whether the answer may be change if the branches are different?

09 March 2011 State bank of Travancore, in the instructions to the statutory branch auditor's has specifically instructed that both assignments referred in the query should not be taken up by the same auditor in a financial year.
