my father has Opene turmdiposit in kotak Bank. bank has hold some principal amount for Advance tds so now I will ask you they are right or wrong. this are income tax or rbi rule

If interest on term deposits exceed Rs 10000/- banks are liable to deduct TDS under income tax law.
