Bank

This query is : Resolved

03 October 2012 Sir, I have a joint saving bank account on either or survivor basis in Bank of India and cheque book and passbook issued by the bank for operating this account. Can one of the joint account holder without the consent of the other joint account holder without cheque and passbook can make FDR in his single name?

03 October 2012 There is no bar in keeping FDR in single name as the operation in Joint SB account is entirely different with FD Account.

03 October 2012 Yes, Agree, You Need to Open Separate Account for FD.
