Has icai awarded marks for error in question paper before?

ICAI never commits ERROR in question paper.
In case a student feels it to be erroneous, s/he should WRITE A NOTE to that effect and solve the question with his/her assumptions.
Just to share a time old case of costing, in standard costing.. K chemicals. The popular pupils community believed that there was a mistake (and not error) in the said question....
It was then declared that the student should have proceeded by assuming the standard quantity.
