Who can a authorised signatory to sign bank documents and cheque on behalf of company?

The BOD (Board of Directors) has to pass a resolution relating to authorized signatory for the purpose of operating bank account and signing other instruments covered under Negotiable Instruments Act. Normally BOD approved one or more directors to act as authorized signatory on behalf of company.

Any one can be appointed as authorised signatory if the Board pass a resolution in this reference.
