Attestation on form 7-B- Share Transfer

If the Shares of a private limited company are to be transferred , then transfer deed in form 7B has to be duly executed with approprite stamp duty

my question is

1. what is the attestation coloumn in the form 7B

2. is attestation required for private limited company

3. who can attest the same? can a chartered acountant attest the signatures?


27 April 2011 Following authorities can attest the signature in form 7B.

1) Notary or

2) Bank attestation with name, designation of the officer, with name and branch of the bank along with the bank account no. of the person whose signature is attested or

3) District Magistrate.
