Assessment year wrongly selected while remtting tds

29 February 2012 Hello,

After deducting the TDS and while paying online, I had selected the assessment year as 2011-2012 instead of 2012 -2013 for the current year every month. Can anyone guide me on how I can rectify the mistake?

P.S: We haven't filed the TDS return yet

29 February 2012 You can write to the TDS computer section stating the error and enclose a challan copy.. they shall be able to correct the same and update..
