I was about to pay Self assessment tax for the Ass. Year : 2010-11 but by mistake i clicked Ass. Year. 2011-12. What should i do.

You can give the challan correction request to the concerned A.O with the copy of challan

It is very clear from the fact that you will not pay self assessment tax for ay 2011-12 now. Hence it must be for ay 2010-11.
But even then you should inform the AO about the mistake and write a request letter for necessary correction in challan data along with a copy of challan.
