Articlr transfer after 1 year

i join the articleship in july,2012and now my principal says to take transfer can i take transfer please advice me.

well if your principal is so insistent on giving you transfer, please ask him to arrange for the ICAI approval as at the end of the day his written assent is required for approaching ICAI for approval
