Is a chartered accountant holding certificate of practice and a partner of a ca firm ,but who has not registered his proprietorship ,eligible to pay stipend to his/her article ,who is registered as an articled assistant under him/her ,by an account payee cheque under his own single name (i.e not in the name of the firm as partner).can he do so ???

Yes, he can do so. Bt it would b preferabl frm next time avoid doing so.
