my articleship was registered under kanpur icai. now i am taking transfer in firm of delhi. where should i send my 109 form?? kanpur or delhi icai??
and what else should be sent with form 109? do i need to send my articleship registered letter and identity card under my previous principle?? please reply soon

02 September 2013 u should send form 109 after duly signed by your existing ca to that regional council where u submitted your articleship reg in form 103.

The papers for registration should be sent so as to reach within 30 days from the date of commencement of training at the following places :

(If the employer chartered accountant is practising in Western India Region) to the Additional Director of Studies at “ICAI Bhawan”, 27, Cuffe Parade, Colaba, Mumbai – 400 005.

(If the employer chartered accountant is practising in Southern India Region) to the Deputy Secretary at “lCAl Bhawan”, 122, Mahatma Gandhi Road, Post Box No. 3314, Nungambakkam, Chennai – 600 034.

If the employer chartered accountant is practising in Eastern India Region) to the Deputy Secretary at “ICAI Bhawan”, 7, Anandilal Poddar Sarani, Russell Street, Kolkatta - 700 071.

(If the employer chartered accountant is practising in Central India Region) to the Deputy Secretary at “ICAI Bhawan”, 16/77-B, Civil Lines, Behind Reserve Bank of India,
Kanpur – 208 001, U.P.

(If the employer chartered accountant is practising in Northern India Region) to the Deputy Secretary at “ICAI Bhawan”, Plot No. 52, 53, 54, Institutional Area, Vishwas Nagar, Shahdara, Near Karkardooma Court, Delhi- 110032 / “ICAI Bhawan”, Indraprastha Marg, New Delhi - 110002

02 September 2013 i submitted my 103 on delhi branch of icai.. but i got my letter of articleship registration from kanpur branch.. i am working on delhi but head office of my firm is on UP(utar pradesh)

02 September 2013 then submit to delhi brach only and then kanpur branch will later reply to you as they did earlier.

You enquire on the helpline numbers given on the website before submiiting the same.

02 September 2013 only form 109 and nothing else should be sent to icai but it should be duly stamped and signed as required at appropriate place in form 109 and should be complete and should be sent within 30 days of joining new firm.

02 September 2013 Read My answer carefully.Where Your principal is registered you will get the registration information from that Region.

The Delhi Region will not issue any letter in this regard.
