i am ca ipcc student (cpt route).i am in a
dillema in planning what type of firm should i apply i.e big fours/medium/small. i mean in which of these above will i be able to learn more,in the sense i am keen on getting into management side of a mnc and not taking up practice thats why i have also enrolled for cs executive . so could any of u please suggest me some firms.and the city in which
i am is bangalore

22 July 2014 Look dear every thing has a dark side. If u join big4 then there is a lot of scope for ur employment, u will also learn more. But they will not provide u much leave for ur examination(Finals or as applicable). U will b allowed to handle work on client basis. So suppose if one client has only IT,ST etc type of work then u will learn only that area. But u can't learn other works.

And in small or mid size firms u will learn a lot but not as much as in Big4's. They will also provide u a decent leave for study.

So it depends on u to choose what.

As per me if u wana do job in MNC's then join Big4s and if u wana do practice then go for mid size.
