15 March 2012 hey,i have just passed 1st group of ipcc with exemption in audit and still not able to find articleship in a good firm,so should i drop my idea of joining articleship now,and should try it when i m passed in 2nd group also?

Congratulation for passing of Group 1 of IPCC. I will suggest you to join articleship, if you manage both articleship and study at the same time. During training period you can get leave for exam preparation and i think you will passed the Group 2 in next attempt.

15 March 2012 Agree with Ajay. Keep looking for good firm.

But your viewpoint is also correct. So keep preparing for exam and keep looking for a reputed firm. Whenever you get an opportunity just join.
