29 January 2015 Dear All,

Please Help me,

I have served my 1st year of articleship then I took transfer to some other CA,

now I want to know that in order to calculate the actual serving period & extension what should be the total period of articleship.

Articleship period done under the previous CA should also be considered or not?? to calculate the actual serving period???

PLEASE REPLY AS SOON AS POSSIBLE

30 January 2015 yes previous period served shall be considered as served and from totla period of 3 years what you have already served under previous ca will be reduced and only balance period is to be served.

refer the letter u must have got from icai on taking first transfer of how much u served and when u started and how much bal to be served as per icai rules.
