as an articled assistant stiphen not received by cheque what will be the issue

then u can ask for cheque payment and more imp issue is that ur recieveing it.

The simple point is....
CA is duty bound to give STIPEND and NOT the articled.
The fault of CA can't be looked upon as the fault of ARTICLED.
