09 September 2013 my principal is not allowing me transfer even in first year of my articleship .

what should i do?

my firm also have a policy of not allowing transfer to any article and for this purpose they have made me sign a separate document bearing this condition.

09 September 2013 This is not done. I would suggest you to have a chat with your principal and try to explain the need of transfer.

I am sure he will understand your situation.

09 September 2013 Agreed with Expert.

Form-109 is required to be signed from your principal for taking transfer. Request for transfer not accompanied by consent of Principal shall not be accepted.

In case of dispute between principal and articled assistant, the matter be settled amicably among the articled assistant and the principal concerned and the Institute shall not interfere in such cases.

Its not done,

Principal have to sign in the form 109 if article wants to take transfer before completion of 1st year...

However, try to convince him..
Provide him some valid and justifiable reasons..
