09 December 2017 Any one Pls Clarify whether a nominee Director can hold regular directorship under same company ? means two Directorship under same company. If can hold, kindly provide under which sec of companies act 2013, its is stated.
Kindly help me in this matter.

11 December 2017 According to my view it is not possible. Nominee directors are usually appointed by the financial institutions or investors on the board of the borrower company for the purpose of representing and safeguarding their interest thereof. The intent of nominating a director in the borrower company is to supervise the functioning of the borrower company so as to safeguard the interest of the lending financial institution who has nominated the director.

11 December 2017 Thank u for your suggestion Mr Mitesh Mehta. I want to take this to further more . If Financial institution or Investors give their consent for for holding two directorship , Then is it possible.
