01 December 2012 I just want to know... if we give some free sample of medicine to a medical practitioner as sample then we are liable to pay vat on that or not?

01 December 2012 VAT is payable on the sale price.. however in your case since the medicines are given free of cost.. there is no vat payable on the same..
