14 October 2010 I want to Know weather TDS Applicable on reimbursement of charges paid to CONCOR towards Transportation of Containers by Rail thru. Clearing and forwarding agents.

The charges are paid against bill summited by C&F with supporting of CONCOR.
How ever on CONCOR invoices company name is mentioned instead of C&F.

14 October 2010 Kindly paid to C&F and get cenvat credit of service tax document in your company name.

14 October 2010 TDS to be charge on only agency charges.

ask to CHA for seperate bill for both.

14 October 2010 Sir, I want to know weather on Rail Transportation by Concor on Behalf of client done by CHA attract TDS Deduction or not(CHA raised debit note towards rembursement of charges to client with all supporting of concor)
(I want to say that,concor raised bill to Party A/c CHA but amount paid by CHA & CHA raised D/note to the party.)Weather this will attract TDS on that Transection or not kindly help matter

15 October 2010 TDS not applicable on Rail/Govt authority.
TDS not applicable of foreign Shipping agency or his aythorized agent. if he is not authorized TDS applicable.
