hi i am bishal doing ca final. i want to know from when direct tax code will be applicable in india? and it is applicable for may 2015 final examnation?

Direct Tax code has not yet been finalised.
Keep watch till the month of Feb 2014. The Govt is worried by its own deeds.Meantime, you should continue your preparation on the basis of Income Tax Act.

very little possibility. However, things can change rapidly post May 2014 elections. So DTC may get Parliament node when new govt comes in. Nevertheless, ICAI rarely incorporate a new act in the course immediately if there are significant changes involved. So May 15 may still end up getting reprieve from DTC.
