26 September 2011 Dear Sir,

I am a proprietor of PVC Bags manufacturer.
My annual turnover for the year 2010-11 is Rs. 34,40,833/-. In which Tax Audit is not applicable. Is it necessary to file my annual return before 30.09.2011. Pls advise

26 September 2011 The due date for filing your income tax return was 31st July.

You can still file your income tax return by 31st March, 2012.

If you have paid all your taxes, then there will be no interest.

However, if you have not paid your taxes, interest for late filing of return will be levied.

It is advised that you file the return as soon as possible.
