My Query case is :

A person is a director of 5 Companies.

Out of these 5 Companies, 3 Companies are shareholders of a outside common Company.

Whether all these 3 Companies may appoint such person (who is director of 3 Companies) as their representative to attend AGM of that outside common company?

Here, I am not talking about proxy.

You want to appoint such director as representative, then you can appoint such director to attend AGM under section 187 through Board.

27 September 2013 Yes, relative should attend meeting on behalf of that company as per section 187 of the Companies Act, 1956.
