Kindly help me with the treatment for amortisation of goodwill for a pricate ltd company ??
Whether as 26 should be followed or it should be amortised as per companies act 13 ??

AS 13 is in relation to accounting for investments and not for amortisation of goodwill.
if goodwill is on account of amalgamation then follow AS 14 else refer AS26
if goodwill is on account of amalgamation then follow AS 14 else refer AS26
