plz can anyone explain me what is the difference between internal reconstruction and external reconstruction

Simply put, when one entity acquires another entity, its external reconstruction. E.g., merger.
When one entity undergoes some changes which are originating from itself, it's internal reconstruction. e.g, reduction in share capital, hive off etc.
