How many types of allowances apply in salary calculation? & Which is its exemption limit ? I need salary return copy with fill all details for file personal IT return for self.

Your question is short but answer is so long, will not be possible to answer here. I advise you , plz read any tax book, there u will find all the allowances , limits , calculation of taxes etc.

There are 2 nature of allowances in Income tax,
1. Alliwances based on actual expenses
2. Allowances fixed without based the actual expenses
the list is very big
