Do we need to charge VAT on reselling an article if we are registered for VAT?
It is not our regular purchase. We purchased a device on which vat was charged to us and now we want to resell it

if its vatable items then yes vat is applicable

So if i sell it in different state then cst will also be applicable
but when i purchased the device the seller has not included cst. the seller is from haryana. he just charged vat @ 4% for the device?
