our company(new company) deals with hardware of computers.
recently we purchase a new 20 pcs (pondichary). including exise duty.same pc i was seal here with 4% vat.how can i file the vat
*How can i file VAT
*that is VAT or CST,how much i payable tax i.e 4% r 2%
* some one said that i have to fill the C form
* What is link of C Form AND VAT
Kindly please help me.

Which State?
For filing VAT return, at first u will have to get your self regd. under local VAT Act.
If you have sold the goods within your State (If the sale is not made in course of inter state trade & commerce), it is a local sell and will attract VAT.
If u have puchased goods from other state and have taken the benefit of concessional rate of taxes (i.e. 2%) you are ought to submit C form to your supplier.
Further more, being you are a new business unit it is always advisable to get service opf professionals. Some time little knowledge may cause u great loss.
