int income of fd on the name of major dependent child is taxable in the hands of that child or her parent?

If the child is major it is taxable in his hands. Income accruing to a minor which is not the result of his skill or talent is clubbed with the income of either of his parents only if he is a minor subject to a deduction of Rs 1500/-.
