About costing and direct tax

(Querist)
17 July 2013 I gave 2nd group of ca final in nov 2012 and got exemption in ISKA,in may 2013 i got 185 and got 63 in IDT,but fail to clear Costing and DT.I just simply want to ask what special efforts need to be takenfor these two subjects.I am bit confused,please guide me sir.
