23 April 2015 An Employee is getting medical reimbursement from company upto 15000/- which is tax free.

Can he claim 5000/- deduction which is for health checkup which was introduce in finance budget 2012?

23 April 2015 Yes. Rs.5000 can be claimed under 80D limit of Rs.15000. even getting the medical reimbursement from employer also
