02 March 2010 as per Sec 80C clause no. (xvii) and subsec(4)Tuition fee is allowed only for 2 children of an individual. An HUF is elegible to claim only clause no. (i), (v),(x) and (xi)of Sec 80C. For further clarifications pls read padhukas (G. Sekar)for C.A final pg. no. 11.2.

02 March 2010 and for further clarification, if tuition fee was allowed to the members of HUF than it should have been allowed to the spouse of the individual also. Pls read the above mentioned clauses and the book for proper clarification of the subject.
