80 e deduction

Dear Sir/mam
suppose if my father takes education loan for me .who will get the tax deduction U/s 80 E if i pay interest on it.

Either your father or you can claim the deduction as per sec.80E. since you are repaying you can take the deduction
26 November 2015
None will get the benefit. Father not eligible since no repayment from his income. Son is not eligible since he has no educational loan.
