26QB TDS deduction

This query is : Resolved

Quick Summary
This discussion addresses an issue with submitting Form 26QB for TDS deduction on property transactions. The user is unable to pay the correct 1% TDS rate due to NSDL defaulting to 0.75%, a change implemented by the government in May 2020. The query seeks guidance on how to proceed with paying the full 1% TDS along with interest, as the NSDL system is not accepting the intended rate.

16 June 2020 Hi, i have been trying to submit form 26QB where transaction date is 19.03.2020 and payment is to be done in June 2020. The TIN nsdl does not allow TDS payment @1% and by default selects 0.75%.
Now how to make payment of TDS @1% alongwith interest where it is not being accepted by NSDL for the payment of the same?

16 June 2020 CBDT Press release dated 13th May, 2020 may be referred to.
