WHAT IS THE LAST DATE OF DEPOSITING TDS DEDUCTED & FILLING TDS RETURN. WHAT IS FINE OR PENALTY AMOUNT ON LATE DEPOSITION OF INTEREST AND ON RETURN FILLING.

In case of monthly deduction for the month of November challan should bear the date of deposit as 07th Dec or prior. If it is 8th Dec. 2 months interest will become payable.

Quartely TDS returns are to be filed.

For the running Q3, return must be filed on or before 15.01.2014.

Late payment interest is 1.5% per month or part of the month.

Late e-filing TDS return costs Rs 200/ per day .

1. q1 15th july
2. q2 15th oct
3. q3 15th jan
4. q4 15th may
late filling of return extracts penalty of RS.200/- per day
2)you must remit tds challan within seven days from date of payment or date of credit to party. otherwise interest provision will be attract i.e 1.5% per month on tds amount.
