WE ARE SENDING THE STOCKS TO C&F THROUGH ROAD TRANSPORTERS AND from the C & F Points the goods will go to Distributors
Shall we Deduct TDS on Freight Amount u/s 194c if thre freight amount is more than 20,000/- or aggregates exceed 50,000/-

Yes, you need to dedcut TDS.

Yes, tax is deductible. The provision of 194C are very clear on this point.

Dear Mr. Mohan Rao,
If your C & F bill is above Rs. 20000.00 than you must have to deduct TDS from Transporter & Rs. 50000.00 is limit for Transportation Charges if transporter give bills odd amount i. e. 2000.00, 5000.00, 3200.00 like wise total amount Rs. 20000.00 its not deductable for TDS...if amount goes above 50000.00 than it can deductable.
