Dear Sir,
Kindly solve my following query_
whether a person can hold office of WTD in more then one company (Pvt. and Pub company in both cases.
Please prescribe the limit and also indicate the relevant provisions regarding it.

A person can't hold position of WTD in more than One company.
As the term 'Whole-time director' it self provides that a director who spends his whole-time in the management of the company.
However the Companies Act does not define the term 'Whole-time director' Section 269 merely provides that 'Whole-time director'includes a director in the whole-time employment of the company. Moreover, section 309(3) uses the expression"'a director who is in the whole-time employment of the Company."
