Dear Sir/Madam,
Jammu Kashmir is a part of India.
But, Why there are some acts/laws which are not applicable to Jammu & Kashmir.?
Why is it so .?

because as per article 370 of the constitution, an act can be made applicable to J&K only if the J&K assembly pass a law to permit the same.
