Which course should be pursued for career in corporate world

23 August 2012 I want to know which course should be pursued to get into big4 or any such MNC

IFRS, DISA are useful in practise as per my knowledge.
CFA (U.S.) is good degree for getting good offers i believe.
But can anybody suggest me some good course which can help in getting job in Big 4 or MNC.
Coz CA is not enough as such in todayz senario.

Kindly help.

23 August 2012 i know good many number of people from BIG4s, who are not CA/ICWA/CS, and working very well paid... M.Sc. stat., M.A. Economics, B.E. computer and so on.

23 August 2012 I am a chartered accountant cleared in May 12. Searching job in big 4 since 3 months. But no opportunity as such is arising so thinking to opt for some course.

23 August 2012 I think IFRS and DISA/ CISA would be a better option for you. Valuation course is also gaining momentum with the inclusion of 'componentisation' concept in IFRS.

23 August 2012 WHere will it lead... I mean the field in which it wud help like financial advisory or stat audit or investment banking etc.
